The Around the Globe newsletter is published three times a year by the International Relations Department of the Israeli Medical Association (IMA) and is distributed to hundreds of Jewish physicians and friends of Israel worldwide. Its purpose is to showcase the Israeli healthcare system by highlighting its impressive achievements and strengths, while also serving as a source of support, inspiration, and encouragement for physicians abroad—particularly those facing antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the global medical arena.
The newsletter offers a window into the IMA’s international activities, including participation in international medical conferences, collaborations with leading health organizations, and efforts to build connections with Jewish medical communities across the globe. It also features updates from IMA branches around the world, personal stories from physicians, and Israeli medical initiatives and innovations with global impact.
