    Accessibility Declaration

    3.9.2025

The Israel Medical Association (IMA), the recognized labor organization representing Israeli physicians and working to advance doctors and medicine in Israel, places the utmost importance on making its services accessible to the entire public, including people with disabilities, and acts to enable an efficient and pleasant web-browsing experience, with compatibility for assistive technologies.

The website has undergone accessibility testing in accordance with Section C: Accessibility of Internet Services of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Services) Regulations, 5773-2013, and in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 of the Standards Institute of Israel, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Levels A and AA.

The website operates on all browsers in the Windows and macOS operating systems. Furthermore, on all mobile browsers (both mobile phones and tablets), the website supports the use of assistive technologies such as screen reading software, keyboard navigation using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move between links, arrow keys, the Enter key for selection, the Esc key for exiting menus and windows, pressing H or numbers to navigate between titles. However, some sections of the website have not yet been fully compliant with accessibility standards, primarily because of the extensive and frequently updated content.

Therefore, the website currently meets only partial accessibility standards. We continue to improve accessibility to further expand support for assistive technologies.

The website is tested every 6 months to ensure the maintenance of accessibility. Accessibility implementation is ongoing, and we aim to complete it during 2025.

Declaration pertaining to partial compliance in the case of third-party content: On external web pages linked through the IMA website, the accessibility of such pages depends on content that is not under the organization’s control (third-party content). Therefore, we declare that the level of accessibility for such pages is unknown to us and is not within our responsibility.

You are welcome to contact us for any issue or request regarding website accessibility. We will review your inquiry and make every effort to assist and find a solution as quickly as possible.

    For efficient handling, please indicate:
