Congratulations to Prof. Jacob Sosna on being elected as a member of Academia Europea, a pan-European academy of scholars from a wide range of academic disciplines. This marks the first time an active physician from Israel has been elected to the academy. The aim of the Academy is to promote European research, advise governments and international organizations in scientific matters, and further interdisciplinary and international research and the election of Prof. Sosna is proof of the high regard awarded to Prof. Sosna's research and the quality of medical research in Israel.
