June 2017 Issue Summary


On the anniversary of the Six Day War, the Journal of Israeli Military Medicine honors a place of honor for documenting the contribution of medical personnel to the salt effort on all fronts.

 

779 cavities and 2593 Injured soldiers, is the toll of six days of battles on all fronts. But the high intensity and the crowns associated with the best fighters did not pass the medical teams, who in many cases risked their lives to save their comrades. Quite a few have either lost their lives or been injured. One was Dr. Israel Eliraz, then a vteran lieutenant physician in the 28th Brigade of the Paratroopers in the 55th Brigade.
