We propose that confidentiality of donor databases be fully maintained. We maintain that National Transplant Center employees for example should not be authorized to use this information for research purposes without the knowledge of the doctors that performed and were involved in the organ transplant procedure, and that the use of these databases should be limited exclusively to transplant purposes. Any other use will be authorized by the Director General or the President of the National Transplant Center to ensure informed use of the information.
