    March 2023: IMA representatives at Nefesh B'Nefesh MedEx Event

    On March 19th-20th 2023, Anat Malki, Head of the Intern Service Unit and Anna Bagola, Foreign Representative at the IMA Scientific Council, represented the Israeli Medical Association at the Nefesh B'Nefesh "Aliya MedEx", the special session for medical professionals, held in Teaneck, New Jersey, USA. 

    Over the course of two days, Anat and Anna met with physicians who are considering Aliya, answering questions, and beginning the process of transferring their specialty certifications to Israel.  Representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Health were also present, assisting in the process of transferring the physicians' medical licenses, a notary to certify their documents, and representatives of the various employers, including hospitals and Kupot Cholim.
