    May 16th-18th, 2022: FIEM Assembly

    The Israeli Medical Association sent a delegation to the XIII Foro Iberoamericano de Entidades Médicas and CONFEMEL (CONFEDERACION MEDICA LATINOAMERICANA Y DEL CARIBE), which was held in Asunción, Paraguay, on May 16-18th, 2022.

    The attending delegates included Leah Wapner, Secretary General of IMA, Dr. Ester Barchilon and Dr. Elhanan Greenberg. At the general assembly of CONFEMEL, held on May 18th, the proposal of Israel gaining full membership status received unanimous support.
