On June 6th, Malke Borow, IMA’s director of law division and policy, met with a delegation of medical students from University of Toronto’s medical school that were participating in a Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA)  Mission to Israel.  Malke provided the 18 medical students with an overview of the Israeli medical system and spoke about IMA’s extensive work on behalf of doctors and the Israeli healthcare system. CIJA is a non-partisan organization that creates and implements strategies for the purpose of improving the quality of Jewish life in Canada and abroad, increasing support for Israel, and strengthening the Canada-Israel relationship.
