General information
Special accommodations or additional time will be granted if the following criteria are met:
- The request for additional time and/or special accommodations may be submitted with the exam registration forms or separately, up to one month prior to the exam date
- The Examination Committee will not consider requests that arrive after the submission deadline or that do not include the appropriate documentation
- The additional time allotted for each part of the exam, in accordance with the rules of the Scientific Council for eligible examinees, is 15 minutes for every exam hour
- Each examinee who meets the criteria stipulated below and believes that he/she needs an accommodation that is not listed here, is entitled to contact the Exceptions Committee and send the relevant documents
- The request should be submitted online (Hebrew)
Accommodations for pregnant women
- Women who are pregnant on the specified exam date, as certified by a gynecologist based on a blood test, are eligible for an additional 15 minutes for every exam hour
- The accommodation will be granted only upon presentation of valid medical documentation
Accommodations for nursing women
- Women who, on the exam date, need to go out to breastfeed or pump milk will be entitled to an additional 30 minutes
Accommodations for a temporary or permanent medical or physical disability
- An examinee may be eligible, with the appropriate documentation, for additional time or other accommodations due to a physical or medical disability, permanent or temporary, or any other problem that might make it difficult to be tested under regular conditions
- An examinee who is interested in submitting a request for accommodations due to disabilities should do so when he/she fills in the registration form for the exam or up until one month prior to the exam
Accommodations due to a diagnosed learning disability
An examinee may be eligible for additional time or other accommodations due to a valid diagnosis of a learning disability, if he/she meets the general conditions listed below and the specific conditions vis-à-vis each diagnosis
- The diagnosis was conducted after the age of 20
- The diagnosis was conducted by an institute recognized by the Scientific Council
- The examinee must submit documents certifying the credentials of the diagnostician
- A diagnosis will not be accepted unless it meets the criteria

An examinee who meets the conditions for receiving extra time must submit the relevant documents when registering for an exam. The request for extra time should be submitted for each exam registration, even if already submitted in the past. No extra time will be granted to examinees who did not receive approval for this in advance.
