The Scientific Council (SC) is pleased to announce the launch of the “Green Track” – an online track for recognizing physicians who hold specialist titles from the USA, France, Canada, and the UK.
Eligibility and Application Process
A physician who holds a specialist degree in a medical specialty recognized in Israel, and whose training program and syllabus is similar to that required in Israel, may submit an official request to the
Scientific Council for recognition of their foreign specialist title through the Green Track -
- The application must be submitted via an online system available in Hebrew or English.
- Applicants must attach all required documentation.
Evaluation Procedure
After the application and all necessary documentation have been submitted, the Chair of the SC Exemption Committee will review whether the application meets the criteria for evaluation under the Green Track.
If the physician meets the criteria both for recognition of specialization periods and exemption from specialization exams, his or her specialization and/or professional experience will be recognized, and the physician will be exempt from both Stage A and Stage B specialization exams and the "adaptation period".
If the criteria are not met, the application will be transferred for evaluation under the standard procedure of the Scientific Council.
A physician who already been issued a decision letter from the SC exempting from both Stage A and Stage B specialization exams and requiring to complete 3 months "adaptation period", who like to apply to have his/her case reviewed in light of these new protocols, please fill out this form.
