Important Past Projects

   The Jerusalem Medical Academy. Established in 1957 by a World Fellowship chapter in the United States. The academy was active for many years, until its separation from the Israel Medical Association. A museum of the history of medicine was established in the academy.

   Assistance to Hospitals. During its many years of existence, chapters and individual members have made many contributions which assisted in establishing departments and units in various hospitals throughout Israel. The World Fellowship assisted contributors with guidance and consultation to assure the most efficient implementation for the promotion of the Israeli health system.

   The Physicians' Residence House in Haifa. The World Fellowship collaborated in the establishment of the residence, the financing and the operation of this most important institution, serving the elderly physicians, physicians' widows and their families. The Physicians' Residence House in Haifa marked a new important achievement for the medical public in Israel, and cooperation between Israeli physicians and their foreign counterparts.

   The World Fellowship House - The World Fellowship purchased, in cooperation with the central committee, 1/3 of the real estate asset, which was the headquarters of the Israel Medical Association until January of 1995. The Israel Medical Association Building was the place of residence of the World Fellowship office and the center of blessed activities of the organization.

   The Physicians' Forest in the Judaea Mountains. The forest was planted at the time, by the organizations' chapters from France, the United States, Australia, Switzerland and others, and proudly decorates a parcel of land in the vicinity of Jerusalem.
