World Fellowship

The World Fellowship is open to every member of the medical profession,
regardless of nationality or religion. Every qualified medical practitioner or
medical student is entitled to a membership. The World Fellowship also
maintains scientific and non-scientific contacts with doctors' organizations
all over the world.

By becoming a member or an associate of the World Fellowship, every
foreign physician is entering into a partnership with the medical profession
in Israel.

Today the World Fellowship has over four thousand members in thirty
eight countries. Each country has an elected chairman and a local
committee (chapter), which organizes social and medical meetings locally
and is also responsible for maintaining the contacts with the other chapters,
as well as with the center in Israel.

The main activities of the World Fellowship include:

Exchange programs for medical students and qualified physicians.
The exchange programs enable participants to gain firsthand experience at
Israeli facilities nationwide for a period lasting from several weeks up to
several months. These programs provide individuals with the opportunity to
combine the pleasure of a visit to Israel with a rewarding professional
experience.

overseas, through scholarships and grants awarded annually.
The encouragement of medical research projects and the promotion of an
international cooperative research program The arrangement of
professional and other visits for guest members from abroad. Maintaining
a network of communication with the thirty eight chapters and other
medical organizations all over the world. The organization of
international medical conferences and seminars, as well as the
International Congress of the World Fellowship in Israel.
