IMA holds conference on mental health reform
|

On 7/7/2010 the IMA held a half day conference attended by over 100 physicians, patients and representatives of the government and the health funds to discuss the proposed mental health reform currently being discussed in the Knesset. For Additional details click here

June 2010: Dental Plan to be added to the Health Basket

The Israeli High Court ruled this month on a petition submitted by the Israeli Medical Association (IMA), finding that the government’s decision to finance dental care for children was illegal. The dental program, first proposed by the deputy Health MinisterYa’acov Litzman last year, would make children up to the age of 8 year eligible for free dental treatment.
